Arrow Airlines Boeing 737-700 (1974 1996 Livery) Pre GO! Merger

Delta Airlines 737
Arrow Airlines had a ugly livery from 1974 all the way up to the merger of Liberty and Arrow. Arrow had a well established fleet and a great airline, nd everything was just great at the airline. Anyone who was anyone wanted to be a pilot for Arrow. But their livery sucked! It was ugly. Didn't really improve the Newark Skyline much with this livery. This aircraft N646AR was the last 737-700 that Arrow bought back in 1993. The plane was set to be retired eight months before the merger was set to take place. On a flight 6 weeks before it's last flight the aircraft stalled on takeoff from Newark. Flight 6739 was climbing past 7500 for FL240 when the pilots began to have trouble controling the aircraft. It pitched up unexpectedly, stalled, rolled, and plummeted into New York Harbor. all 378 people and 8 crew member were killed on impact. No cause of crash we determined. Thanks to all the contributors. I forget who did it but you know who you are. Thanks! ©2014 Phil Rinella #737700 #Airlines #Arrow #Arrow_Airlines #Boeing #Boeing_737700
