This is Dayton's Kettering Tower. It was built from about 1968 to 1970. It was originally built as the Winters Bank Headquarters. It took the title of Dayton's tallest building from 40 West 4th Centre, then known as the Grant-Deneau Tower. The Kettering Tower is 405 feet tall, and has 30 stories. It houses a resturant on the 30th floor. It is called the Dayton Racquet Club. The tower is one of Dayton's most recognizable landmarks. During its construction, a tower crane collapsed on the southeast corner of the structure, it didn't reach the street but damaged several floors, which had to be repaired. This model has some of the communications equipment on its roof that the real building has. I don't know what they are, as their colors and shapes I got from street level pictures. #Dayton #Daytons_Tallest #Downtown_Dayton #Kettering_Tower #Winters_Bank_Headquarters
