Panoplosaurus mirus

Panoplosaurus mirus

The 17 foot long panoplosaurus was a member of the ankylosaur family. This animal was an older type of ankylosaurid, a nodosaur. Panoplosaurus lacked the tail club and heavier build of most ankylosaurs of it's time, and instead had a slimmer, more maneuverable build and large shoulder spikes that came in useful when charging at an enemy.
