This was the very first generation Hyperion. Second gen was 1991-1997. Third was 1997-2005. Fourth was 2005-2010. Because of poor sales, it was dropped from our lineup in '10. It was famous for being an absolute junkbucket. But, with the launch of the 2015 Hyperion, we've turned that around. The 1981-1991 was built off a platform extremely similar to the GM G-Body. Basically the front of a G-Body with a rear half that was basically a sportier version of the G-Body. And it was modified as it has gullwing doors. That button on the door opens the door. Design oversight: a t-bone crash of almost any speed could easily push the button on the door and pop the door open. On the tail lights, the very inside reverse lights (not the inside of the three, but the inner ones of the six) aren't reverse lights; they're exhaust pipes. Thanks to all the contributers (I know The Flying Flynn is one of them).
