Colorado Convention Center

Colorado Convention Center

Camelot
Description
The Colorado Convention Center, a contemporary exhibition hall located in downtown Denver, expanded in 2004 to 1.2 million square feet. The $275 million project, designed by Fentress Bradburn Architects, added 600,000 square feet of multi-purpose space and a 5,000 seat theater. A major highlight of the project was the modification of the D Line Light Rail system that now curves below the building rather than passing through the original complex. The existing Currigan Hall and TerraCenter, surrounding the "old" convention center, were demolished to make room for the expansion that now covers 9 city blocks.
