The Visual Arts Building is IPFW’s home for fine art, visual design, and photography programs. Here, students can create anything their imagination dreams up. That includes ceramics, sculpture, metalsmithing, printmaking, painting, drawing, graphic design, photography, and woodworking. In the VA Building, art is also applied to real-world settings — projects have included logo and chassis design for EcoVehicle (an electric car) and a multimedia virtual magazine about Burma featured on The News-Sentinel Web site.
Indulge your dramatic side at the Williams Theatre! An attraction for the entire community, Williams Theatre hosts award-winning student performances and major productions from Shakespeare to Broadway musicals. The theatre seats nearly 300 people and features a semi-thrust stage — one that extends into the audience for an up-close experience. Theatre alumni produce and star in productions all over the United States. One graduate recently stage managed the Broadway production of A Moon for the Misbegotten, and another is currently stage managing Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast. #Arts #Building #Fort_Wayne #Indiana #IPFW #Joe_Kiszka #Purdue #Theatre #University #Visual #Williams
