Building with glassed facade (1965 year, aprox.), mimicking the typical ones named "galería", very characteristic of the close boulevard, known as "Crystal City" of La Coruña.
Is located near of "Puerta Real" (Royal Door), the most relevant entrance to "Plaza de María Pita" (María Pita Square), where is the Town Hall.
If we go from "Puerta Real", walking along Santo Domingo Street, towards "Ciudad Vieja" (Old City), we'll meet whit this building in the bifurcation with "calle de las Tabernas" (Taverns Street), named like this because in the past, there was a lot of taverns where sailors could to have a drink (or more).
It's a start point commonly used by tourist coming from cruises, to visit Old City and their numerous monuments and heritage, because of the closeness to the port terminal.
