MARIETTA JOHNSON MUSEUM Marietta Johnson (1864-1938) moved with her family to Fairhope, Alabama in 1907 and began one of the nation's most progressive educational experiments, The School of Organic Education. The Marietta Johnson Museum occupies the "Bell Building", one of several structures that still remain from the old school, just a few blocks from the city's center. The 10-acre parcel of land that once comprised the school campus is utilized today by Faulkner State Community College. #Bell_Building #Fairhope #Marietta_Johnson #Organic_School #School_of_Organic_Education
