Considered by some to be the most beautiful home in the world, Falling Water was designed and constructed in the late 1930s, under the supervision of Frank Lloyd Wright, on a site in rural Pennsylvania for Edgar Kaufmann, a Pittsburgh businessman. The situation - overlooking a series of waterfalls – is certainly spectacular but the building itself is hardly low-maintenance and its upkeep has cost many millions of dollars. The house is now entrusted to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and it receives more than 120,000 visitors each year. The scenes include interior layout for each floor of the main house and, for an automated walkaround, click View/Animation/Play. #architect #architecture #building #domestic #Frank_Lloyd_Wright #home #house #waterfall
