name: House near Barcelona,author: Robert Konieczny,collaboration: Michał Lisiński,Grzegorz Ostrowski,structural engineering: Kornel Szyndler,client: Imaestri,site area: 2003,7 m2,usable floor area:453,7 m2,design: 2012-2013
The idea was to refer to frequently encountered theme: house surrounded by a wall. Using the terrain slope to the south we tilted walls, keeping privacy and giving in addition the desired view
underlined by infinity pool.As a result, 2 zones are created in the garden: open (landscape garden] and intimate garden as a natural extension of the house (the house in the open air). The
link between open and intimate garden is done by perforation of the wall - the size and number of holes will depend on the preferences of future investor.
In order to avoid the midday sun on the first floor, the shutters may be closed. Contact with the outside will be kept through the additional terrace, designed on the north side as a natural extension of the private part of the house. The opening to the terrace provides a soft light and pleasant atmosphere inside. The house is flexibly designed as to enable its adaptation
to preferences of a future investor both in program and size terms.
(IMPORTANT: SCALE and FURNITURE of building ARE NOT of that originally designed by KWK Promes!!!)
