The program called for the design of a three story, four bedrooms, four baths,
living room, open dining, and kitchen with adjacent family room, hillside
home of approximately 3,000 sq.ft. It was to be built on an approximately
5,000 sq.ft.,irregular shaped lot located at the end of W. Oletha Lane,
in Beverly Glen, California: It never made it past planning submimttal.
To big for the area. End of story. I decided to tweeked it a bit, and
reduced its size to approximately 2,600 sf. The skp model ended being 12.7 mg,
the grading model another 3mg. Too big for Google. Deleted all layers but
the current layer, and moved the other 15 to it. That's a Bingo! Five mg skp
for house; three mg for grading model.
Enter the house onto a seven by eight feet raised semicircular 9' high foyer.
Two steps down, and you are on a open plan living room which opens up to a spectacular,
semicircular roof above which slopes down towards a grand stair directly ahead. A raised
dining room to the left, kitchen with family room towards the back of the house.
Up the stairs onto an open rail hall overlooking the living room below: Towards the
back three bedrooms, and an amazing master bedroom at the central tower.
