St. Ludwig Kirche Darmstadt

MegaWatt
St. Ludwigs Kirche was designed by Georg Moller (born January 21, 1784 in Diepholz; died March 13, 1852 in Darmstadt) an architect and a town planner who worked in the South of Germany, mostly in the Hessen region. He became a construction superintendent in 1810 and eventually was appointed as court master builder of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. The St. Ludwig's Kirche was one of his major works, and was the first Roman-catholic church built in Darmstadt since the Reformation. Moller was inspired by the Pantheon in Rome when designing this building. #Church #Darmstadt #Kirche #St_Ludwig #Wilhelminenstrasse
