Opening in 1999 at a cost of $158 million, the RBC Center, formerly the Raleigh Entertainment & Sports Arena, is located in Raleigh, North Carolina and was designed by the architectural firm Odell. With seating for nearly 20,000, the RBC Center is best known as the home to the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes and was the sight of the 2006 Stanley Cup when the home team beat the Edmonton Oilers, 3 to 1.
