Boeing Commercial Airplanes (1967 [CONCEPT]) - Boeing 707-820

707
This is purely a concept based off an official company model. In 1964, Boeing announced development of the 707-820, a stretched 707-320B Advanced aimed for Intercontinental airliner markets. It would have been the 707's equivalent to the DC-8-63. All development was cancelled, because the 707's structure would have required a complete redesign in many areas, inclduing the landing gear and wing and fuselage structures. Rather than spend millions on a larger interim 707, Boeing decided to pour all the funds into the newer Boeing 747 which was a more perminant solution to the increase in passenger travel. This is how it would have looked like most likely, if the plane had been constructed and flown. #1966 #707 #707300 #707300B #707320 #707320B #707800 #707820 #Adv #Advanced #Boeing #Concept #N70820
