Daniel
J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts was opened in 2008 in St. Charles, Missouri, USA, on the campus of the Lindenwood University as a state-of-the-art $32 million, 138,000-square-foot educational and performing arts complex. It is home to The Bezemes Family Theater, a 1,200 seat Broadway-style theater with one of the largest and most sophisticated stages in the region. The Lindenwood main stage readily accommodates national & Broadway tours, as well as concerts, world renowned dance, celebrity appearances, and Lindenwood University productions. Emerson Black Box Theatre is a more flexible space designed to put the audience close to the action. Generally seating between 150 and 250 audience members, The Emerson Black Box Theater provides for more intimate gatherings in music, dance, drama and experimental theater. The Boyle Art Gallery is a large, modern gallery facility used for showing of student work as well as art ranging from local to international artists. In addition to the performance areas the facility is home of the School of Fine and Performing Arts and features classrooms and faculty offices. It includes: the Box Office, the fashion department, a large scene shop, costume shop, two dance studios, LUTV's Charter HD Studio, practice spaces with Steinway grand pianos and chorus and orchestra rooms. #Bezemes_Family_Theater #Boyle_Gallery #Emerson_Black_Box_Theater #Lindenwood #Scheidegger #University
