Medinet Habu is the name commonly given to the Mortuary Temple of King Ramesses III, XX Dynasty (1188-1069), Thebes, Luxor, Egypt . The ancient Egyptian name for Medinet Habu, in Arabic the "City of Habu" was Djamet, meaning "males and mothers." This model is a faithful attempt to reconstruct the the false door to scale using ancient Egyptian measurements of royal cubits (RC). 1 Royal Cubit (RC) = 0.524 mtr. / 52.4 cm. Following are measurments of the main structure: Height: 12 RC (6.288 mtr.) Length: 6 RC (3.144 mtr.)
