Suzuki GP125

Suzuki GP125

Cyrus Khan
A low cost, economy version of the GT125/RG125 having single 2-Stroke 125CC Engine. The model name GP was apparently adopted from racing world (Grand Prix), the GP125 shared the bore and stroke dimensions with the 1976/1977 Suzuki RG500 works racer. Presented for the Japanese home market in March 1978. The biggest difference between the 1978 RG125/GT125 and the GP125 was that the RG had a twin engine with piston reed valves while the GP a single cylinder engine with rotary disk valves. Suzuki Motor Company continued to build the model couple of years into the 1980's, perhaps even longer for export to New Zealand. This Motorcycle has neither collaborations with Pak Suzuki Motor Company Ltd. and nor longer production including in Pakistan. #suzuki
