Rod Laver Arena is a part of the Melbourne Park complex located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and is a current venue for the Australian Open in tennis. Originally called Centre Court, the arena was named to honour one of Australia’s greatest tennis players of all time. It was officially named after Rod Laver in January 2000 for his unsurpassed achievements and accomplishments at the Australian Open.
