Description
The University of the Pacific campus at Stockton, CA is home to the 950-seat Faye Spanos Concert Hall. Originally opened in 1927, the hall is designed in a Gothic scheme, along with the rest of the buildings on campus. The building was given an extensive facelift in 1988. Currently, the building also houses studios and offices for the faculty. Movie aficionados will remember the Spanos Concert Hall from several films, most notably "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981) and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" (2008), wherein the exterior of the building was used to signify Marshall College. (NB to Google: Photo textures should not a GE model make. Especially in this case, wherein much of the building is covered in some sort of dense vine.) #academy #action #actor #actors #adventure #Akator #Allen #america #Ark #california #cinema #class #college #covenant #Crystal #educate #education #fedora #film #films #Ford #George #gun #Harrison #hat #Indiana #Indy #institute #intellect #intellectual #jacket #Jones #Karen #Kingdom #knowledge #LaBeouf #learn #learning #Lost #Lucas #man #Marion #men #movie #movies #Mutt #people #person #pistol #Raiders #Ravenwood #Sallah #san_francisco #scholar #school #seminary #Shia #Skull #Spielberg #states #Steven #stockton #united #university #whip #Williams #wisdom
