The 11-floor (160 ft.) Paulsen Building was completed in 1911 by mining magnate August Paulsen. The building was designed by John K. Gow. The 19-floor (221 ft) Paulsen Medical-Dental Building was added in 1929, and remained Spokane's tallest building until the Bank of America building was completed in 1981. The art deco Medical Dental Building was designed by Gustav A. Pehrson. Two adjoining smaller buildings are included in model. #historic_building #office_building #Paulsen #spokane
