Elasmosaurus platyurus

Elasmosaurus platyurus

Birdman
At 70 feet long when fully grown, Elasmosaurus was arguably the largest animal that ever swam the waters of the niobrara. these leviathons were actually gentle giants, prefering a diet of mid sized fish to that of the highly predatory tylosaurus. These beasts would use thier long necks to snake thier heads into a school of fish, keeping the enormous body out of sight and then slash into the school and snag a meal. Elasmosaurus lived in pods, a group of related animals, for most the year, just like today's whales.
