Built in 1964, Alumni House is one of the Case residence halls on Murray Hill Rd. It has 15 suites, each for 6 people (floorplan). The first floor is unoccupied (Except for the Coordinator of Residence Education), and has a laundry room, kitchen, study rooms, and game room. Alumni house was scheduled to be closed during Summer 2005, but was instead remodeled and reopened to house an unexpectedly large freshmen class in the 2005-6 school year. Since then, the building has housed sophomore students as part of the Second Year Experience. This residence hall should not be confused with the recently-opened Alumni House on Juniper Road on North Campus, which is a center for alumni of the university.
