This building is the old tram terminal of Trondheim. It was made for a school project, for the subject technology. We were supposed to choose 1 or 2 buildings per person in Trondheim and create it on Google earth. Trough the process of creating this part, I have gone through many problems and solved them. It looks easy to make (and it really is after you've created it!!), but I spend many hours on only this little part. My tip: There was a reason why Google developed the Google earth Modeling guide!!!! The old tram terminal was build in 1923. The architecture of the building was at that time state of the art. It was used for, as the name says, parking the trams in. The trams of Trondheim Sporvei, drove to Singsaker as 'Singsaker linjen', Ila and Elgeseter as 'Ila linjen' and Lade as 'Lade linjen'. Unfortunately, the Singsaker line had to close in 1968, and everything else in 1983. After the lines were closed, the building was not in use anymore. Therefore the building was changed into an office building. In 1986, a company called KLP Eiendom moved into the building, and is still there today.
