Art Deco apartment building, Miami Beach

MILO M.
An Art Deco strcuture, designed following the regular setup for buildings on street corners. This means that the front facade is located on the south side, facing the street. The sides are facing the avenues. This setup is only used in Art Deco buildings located in the hart of the Art Deco district; not at the beaches or on the angled avenues. The traditional eyebrows are very square - not rounded - and they seems to wrap around the 45 degree corners, though they end just after its corner. We can find the entrance on the facade facing the street, which is kind of tripartite. The entrance is located in an extruded part. Aside the door are two decorations, consisting of several rounded blocks next to eachother. Some parts of the facades of this building are taller then the others. Also, two balconies can be seen. One on the wall facing the avenue, the second above the entrance. The colors are kept traditional: pastel orange and pastel blue, which are actually two opposite colors. Together, orange and blue create the primary colors; blue + red, yellow (orange).
