My Tipi #my_tipi
My tipi is a cone-shaped tent made with canvas, varying from the traditionally made of animal skins upon wooden poles. A tipi is distinguished from other conical tents by the smoke flaps at the top of the structure. As "The Indian Tipi" makes obvious, Plains Indians are both practical people and natural artists. Their inventions are commonly both serviceable and beautiful.
