Medieval English Aisled Hall House

Medieval English Aisled Hall House

MedievalEurope
This is an example of a large medieval English manor house from the 14th and 15th centuries. It consists of an 2 1/2 bay double-aisled hall, the lord's chamber at its upper end, a service cross wing and a rear kitchen, which could be seen as a later addition to the building. The interiors and roof constructions are fully modelled, showing a lot of different roof types, such as crown-post and clasped-purlin roofs. Furniture and the passage screen wall are not modelled, though. #14th_century #15th_century #aisled #english #hall #house #manor #medieval #roof
