Cockcroft Building. Faculty of Science and Engineering. Building named after Sir John Douglas Cockcroft. The faculty is the focus of knowledge discovery, translation, exchange and transfer in engineering, construction, environmental and earth sciences, pharmacy and biomedical and natural sciences in the University of Brighton. Based in the Cockcroft building of the Moulsecoomb campus offers professionally accredited undergraduate and postgraduate courses underpinned by strong academic disciplines, national and internationally recognised research, the use of innovative learning technologies, research led teaching and strong links with industry, NHS Trusts and employers. Also offers a range of foundation degrees taught at partner colleges.The Collaborative Training Centre supports regional business and economic development nationally and internationally through the provision of consultancy, contract research, collaborative training, short courses, access to expertise and facilities and student placements from within the faculty.
