Styracosaurus is one of the weirdest dinosaurs of Ceratopsia. His massive horned frill is cool, but a mystery. The horn of his snout is perfect for spearing of enemies, but the horns of fosslis ar totaly intact... the best theory is that the horn is a showpiece. His name means spiked lizard. Hes first found by Lambe, but the spesies ovatus was found by Gilmore, 1930. He wasn't very big, 5.5 m, 18 ft long. He lived in the Cretaceous period, about 76.5 to 75.0 MYA. He has 11.5 horns a each side of his head. #cretaceous #dinosaur #styracosaurus
