Freston Tower

Andrew W.
Freston Tower, on the west bank of the River Orwell, south of Ipswich, is a late 16th Century Folly, possibly the oldest in England - its origins are uncertain. It consists of six storeys, accessed via a tight spiral staircase, and offers fine views over the River Orwell from the roof and small turret. It is owned by the charity, the Landmark Trust, and is available for short term lets for up to four people. www.landmarktrust.org.uk #Folly #Freston #Freston_Tower #Ipswich #Landmark_Trust #Orwell #Suffolk #Tower
