Croxley Station

Croxley Station

Simon W.
Croxley, a station on the Watford branch of the Metropolitan Line, was opened in 1925 as Croxley Green before that name was used for another, now closed, station nearby. It is built in typical Metropolitan Railway style of the period which fitted in with the housing developments the railway brough to London suburbs. It has two platforms which are below the level of the station building and roadway bridge it sits on. From here services proceed to Watford (terminus) or to central London via Moor Park, the next stop south. Liike many Metropolitan Line stations it lies outside the boundaries of Greater London. #Croxley #London #Metropolitan_Line #station #Underground
