Purvabharata is a fictional airline I created. "Purv" means East in Hindi, and "Bharata" means "India", so the name means "East India". The airline operates mainly regional routes within North-East India. Purvabharata is headquartered at Guwahati, Assam, and has bases/hubs at Guwahati (GAU), Agartala (IXA), Imphal (IMF), Bagdogra (IXB), and Silchar (IXS). It will also open bases at Gangtok Airport, once it opens, and Kolkata Airport (CCU). Its inaugural flight was from Guwahati to Bagdogra. The airline names aircraft after towns in the North-East of India. The airline has a fleet of 8 Airbus A319-100s, 3 Airbus A320-200s and 4 Bombardier Dash 8 Q-400s. #A319 #Agartala #Arunachal_Pradesh #Assam #Bagdogra #East #Gangtok #Guwahati #India #Kolkata #Manipur #Meghalaya #Mizoram #Nagaland #Purvabharata #Silchar #Tripura
