130 West 2nd Street is a 290 foot tall International Style skyscraper in Downtown Dayton. The building is number seven on the list of tallest buildings in the city. This and its location well away from Main Street have combined to create a little known architectural gem in the City of Dayton. I personally wasn't aware of this until I came across the internet article listed here. This building was designed by prominent Chicago architect Harry Weese to serve as the headquarters of First National Bank. The bank was bought by the City Bank of Cleveland, forming National City Bank, who was in turn bought out by PNC Bank. The building is no longer owned by PNC Bank, though prior to the merger, National City maintained a presence in the building. #Dayton #Downtown_Dayton #First_National_Bank #International #International_Style #National_City_Bank #PNC_Bank
