The Tarpon Springs Cultural Center is located at 101 South Pinellas Avenue, Tarpon Springs, Florida, 34689. The building was built in 1915 and was the original City Hall of Tarpon Springs until 1987, when the local government moved its offices to the former Tarpon Springs High School and created it into the town cultural center. Architect Ernest Ivey Cook used the neoclassical style to design this building and it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on August 10th, 1990. Now, the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center hosts various cultural activities (such as sculpture and art exhibits), live performances, and films. The cultural center is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM with free admission to exhibits and free parking as well. #10 #1915 #1987 #1990 #34689 #architect #August #August_10_1990 #city_hall #corinthian_columns #Court_St #Cultural_Center #culture #E_Court_St #E_Lemon_St #Ernest_Ivey_Cook #FL #Florida #free_admission #free_parking #Lemon_St #neoclassical_style #old_city_hall #Pinellas_Ave #S_Pinellas_Ave #Tarpon_Springs #Tarpon_Springs_Cultural_Center #Tarpon_Springs_High_School #United_States #US #USA
