New Utrecht Reformed Church Sanctuary

Vinny
The New Utrecht Reformed Church, part of the Reformed Church in America, was organized in 1677. The church sanctuary was built in 1828-9 using stones from the original church building in 1700. The building was landmarked by the New York City Landmarks Commission on March 15, 1966 and was landmarked again in 1998 as part of an expanded site with the Parish House (built in 1892) and the cemetery (first opened in the mid-17th century). The church is part of the National Register of Historic Places. #Brooklyn #New_Utrecht_Reformed_Church #New_York_City #Reformed_Church_in_America
