Schneidemühl - Evangelische Johanniskirche

Schneidemühl - Evangelische Johanniskirche

Generalfeldmarschall
Located only a few blocks from the Catholic Kirche zur Heiligen Familie, the neogothic Church of St. John the Evangelist in Schneidemühl was built between 1909 and 1911 by renowned architect Friedrich Oskar Hossfeld and was home to a United Protestant congregation. Although the Johanniskirche had received only minor damage from the later stages of WW2, it was blown up by the Communist authorities afterwards, probably during the 60-70s. - (c) Generalfeldmarschall. #church #Church_of_St_John #Deutsches_Reich #Evangelical #Evangelische #Evangelische_Johanniskirche #Evangelische_Kirche #ewangelicki #Friedrich_Oskar_Hossfeld #Friedrich_Oskar_Hoßfeld #German_Empire #Johanniskirche #Kingdom_of_Prussia #Kirche #Kirchengebäude #kościół #kościół_św_Jana #Königreich_Preußen #neogothic #Neogotisch #Neugotik #Oskar_Hossfeld #Oskar_Hoßfeld #Piła #Poland #Polen #Polska #Preussen #Preußen #Protestant #Protestant_church #Protestantism #Provinz_Posen #Prussia #Schneidemühl #św_Jana
