Designed by Maike Acosta From: Miami, United States Shelter location: Cuba Date submitted: July 19, 2009 Shelter designed to accommodate 1 to 2 persons in beach environment. Shape of building was designed to maximize cross ventilation, sun filtration and views. Roof is arched not only to connect with site but to allow hot air to rise and exit the building. Interior space was used to its fullest by dynamic furniture which allows for one space to serve different functions. Construction can be managed with local materials.
