Avenida Central is one of the biggest comercial buildings in Rio de Janeiro. Its 120 m tall and has 34 floors. It was built in 1961 and is one of the first examples of the modern and racionalist architeture, inspired by Mies vn der Rohe' buildings: both Seagram (NY) and Lake Shore Drive (Chicago) .
