WMU Unified Clinics, also known as the MSU Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies (KCMS) and University Medical and Health Sciences Center, was acquired by Western Michigan University in 1983. The building was originally used by the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital as an infirmary. It has since been remodeled and undergone various name changes in 1983, 1992, and 1995. The building is now home to the Medical Center, Center for Disability Services, and is proud staple of the College of Health and Human Services. KCMS has four floors and approx. 36,320 sq. ft.
