The 747 has been in service with Decknar Airlines since the aircraft was first avalible. We had 7 100's in 1970 and until 1982 we had those 7 741's. We upgraded to the 747-200 and ran those along side the 300 unti early 2004 when we phased the 200 out with the 400 and then in mid 2009 the 300 flew its last flight with Decknar Airlines. Now the 747-400 will have it's turn to retire coming up in late 2015. The aircraft which has provided amazing service world wide for nine years. Engine type on all our 74's are the GE CF6-80C2b5F. The jet will be comonly found on routes like Newark-Kuwait City, or Dallas-Buenos Aires and routes similar in length to that. Once the 747 leave the airline we will replace it with the modern 747-8i which is to be in service with the airline for 30 years. I would like to thank 50210 for the 747-400 model.
