Description
The Communications Building at Iowa State University was designed by Amos Emery and Associates and constructed from 1962 to 1964. Later, in 1979, an addition on the north side was designed and built by Rudi Lee Dryer and Associates. The ground floor of the building houses two studios used by students of the Greenlee School of Journalism and the student-run cable TV station ISUtv. The upper floor is home to WOI Radio, a member station of Iowa Public Radio. CELT (Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching) Learning Technologies also resides in the building, offering seminars, hands-on workshops, and individual consultation on a wide range of topics. Some of the university on campus art installations are displayed in the communications buildings as well. This model was completed by Wenying Sun. #ISU_TV #WOI_radio
