Render Test

Ben C.
Hello and welcome to my new account! Not sure if or when that last car will come out because I lost the original mesh when switching over to my laptop. This is a wooden cabinet made specifically for rendering. Most models like this don't look good outside of standard SU because modelers tend to rely on edges too much. Detail is lost that way because perfectly straight edges and square corners don't exist in real life, and rendering programs ignore edges completely. If you look closely, my model has lots of little 1/16" bevels, so everything doesn't look all blocky. I made black and white copies of all of the textures and applied them as a bump map. Even sanded wood is a little lumpy, so a little extra pop was needed to make the textures look 3D. The render was done in Kerkythea and touched up in Photoshop because I'm all OCD about perfect lighting. Model, lights, and render included. I'll be uploading to this account from now on so don't bother with the old one. #brick #cabinet #dilbert #floor #light #render #room #test #wall #wood
