This is a machine I had to develop for an intriductory design course in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston. The class is titled: The Introduction to Mechanical Design for Mechanical Engineering. The class name and number are MECE 2361. This machine is supposed to utilize only gravity as its power source and it must have a ten second delay before it begins to autonomously separate the two bins of balls. The ball are exactly identical in every way with the exception of color and as such they must be seperated by color and must come to rest in a final container where they will be in an alternating series of colors, i.e. red, white, red, white. The entire process can take no longer than fourty-five seconds grand total.
