This is a model of the Next Generation Aircraft Carrier of the United States Navy. Of the cancelled CVN-100 and CVN-XX programs, this aircraft carrier is larger in displacement than the Nimitz Class supercarrier, allowing a Carrier Air Wing of over 110 fixed and rotary wing aircraft. It is nuclear powered, giving it an unlimited cruise range. This model is equipped with Phalanx CIWS and X-Band radar, as well a a carrier version of the AEGIS weapon system.
