EZ-X43U '裏返し' 'Uragaeshi' Fighter

Vaclon
armed with six 30mm autocannons and one autoloading 40mm armor piercing gun, the EZ-X43U was designed, originally, as a parasite fighter to launch from larger bomber or dirigible platforms. It's low aspect ratio wings gave it incredible manouverability and it was highly customizable. This version represents a unit with non-retractable landing gear and the circular wing in the downward position. This version found increased manouverability at the expense of airspeed and, unlike it's upward-wing cousin had great degrees of view in the upward direction. This version was adopted during the USSV's post unification period but was quickly dropped in favor of its upward-winged cousin, which was able to be assisted via rocket-takeoff and equipped onboard warships as a last-resort fighter. While there was talk of doing the same with the Uragaeshi for bombers, it only was experimented with and was never made into production. #aircraft #aircrafts #annular #circular #flapjack #flying #japanese #korea #military #one #pancake #plane #planes #sphere #two #war #world_war
