Martin Tower

Martin Tower

Philsey
Martin Tower is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It was constructed in 1972 as the world headquarters of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation. The building is 21 stories, 330 feet tall. It is the tallest building in the Lehigh Valley. The building is named after, then corporate chairman, Edmund F. Martin. The cross shape of the building allowed for more corner offices and offices with windows. Due to the decline of steel making in the Lehigh Valley and the sale of Bethlehem Steel, the building is currently vacant. It is owned by a partnership which hopes to develop the sky scraper and its 55 acre campus into a combination of residential and commercial projects. #Bethlehem_Steel #Haines_Lundberg_Waehler #Martin_Tower #Pennsylvania #Sky_Scraper #Tall_Building
