Philippine National Railways (PNR) was the first ever railway firm in the far east to be modernized using diesel-powered locomotives, running across the entire Philippines. Dating way back 1960's it caters freight, passenger, and bus service to its commuters. But because of negligence on the part of the government, the state-of-the-art backbone of the Philippine economy started to collapse, trains aren't maintained properly, service quality starts to fall, and its coutrywide service suddenly stopped. Now, after more than 3 decades of neglect the government started a rehabilitation plan which would bring the nation's pride back to life! The PNR (Northrail, Commuter Link, and Southrail) Project, which intends to upgrade all the services, infrastructure, and equipment.
