This is a 'half width' cross cut table saw sled jig is made mostly from 3/4" plywood and maple. It's half width (as opposed to typical full width table saw sled) so is smaller, easier to use & store. Half width sled can make dado cuts that full width sleds often can't. The sled has a unique clamping system for holding work piece and other jigs to the sled. This can be helpful when cutting small work pieces that are close to the blade. Can be used for making straight edge cuts and S4S dimensioning of small pieces of wood. The clamping system can also be used for making miter cuts, repeatable cuts. The sled can be used to both the left and right side of the saw blade, with the sled on the right side on can make bevel cuts or even compound miter/bevel cuts.
The model includes several additional jigs that mount to this sled including: Miter angle jig, spline jig, bevel jig for acute angles / tenons, & stop block jig for running multiple pieces of the same length.
