Venlo airport Gefechtsstand

utb1942
This military traffic control bunker (Gefechtsstand during WO2) and control tower on the former airport of Venlo originate from 1941. During WW2 the airport was used for the German night fighter squadrons. The bunker and control tower still exist. The control tower is used for mountain climbing exercises. This model was made with drawings made by the Dutch military in 1946 and the German 434p01-02 Eingangstuer.
