I spent some time programming this wall. It can be stretched to span between two other objects. It works well, if i do say so myself. I have not been able to find any serious problems with its use.
This object will place studs between a starter stud and a finisher stud. The studs will have an on center spacing emanating from the origin. Even if we move the wall, or change its length, we will still see that the on center studs will be maintained on the index.
if you rotate it downwards, it will work just as well as floor joist. just change Top Plate=None in the options.
on center spacing, define it yourself;
use an index, optional;
stud/joist thickness, define it yourself;
stud/joist depth, define it yourself;
top plate, select double, single, or none.
a very useful stud wall, or floor joist, depending on your interest.
the index works in two directions: along either x-axis or y-axis.
if you are unsure try changing the value of RotZ to 90 and back.
consider opening and looking at the insane jumble of code.
