This is a curated collection of models that are useful for zoning code graphics (conventional/Euclidean and form/transect/TND/new urbanism-based), and conceptual development modeling. The bulk of these models generally reflect the built environment of the northeastern United States and eastern Canada. This collection also has good models of what many planners in North America might consider bad development. I'm avoiding "casa moderna" .skps, along with models that have overly flat or photo-textured surfaces, odd proportions, or incomplete elevations. This collection will see some selective culling of redundant or lower-quality models over time, to make it easier to browse and manage. Come visit us at Cyburbia - Urban Planning Community (https://www.cyburbia.org/forums) Thanks to all the model makers out there! :) #built_environment #conventional_development #exurban #fbc #village #city #town #northeast #new_urbanism #planning #smartcode #suburban #T1 #T2 #T3 #T4 #T5 #T6 #tnd #transect #urban #zoning #form_based_code #new_urban #transect #zone #typology #typologies #housing #residential #commercial #industrial #civic #traditional_neighborhood_development #subdivision #land_use #development
